Description (physical)

The angel kneels forward, holding a consoling harp in her left hand, a suitable theme for the death of a three year old.

Description (iconographical)

Kelly’s Directory for Norfolk, 1904, notes 351 the executors of J.R. Childs as stone and marble masons at Chapelfield and monumental masons at Rose Lane. The ambition of the monument is unusual and A & W Cushion are listed as timber merchants at St Benedict’s Mill, Barn Road in Kelly's Directory for 1904, p. 354, and the firm continues to trade as timber merchants from the same premises.
