Description (physical)

The Suffolk Trinity - Suffolk punch red powl cattle and Suffolk sheep - is set on a purpose built brick and flint plinth on the right of the entrance to Trinity Park. 

Description (iconographical)

The choice of three animals -Suffolk punch red powl cattle and Suffolk sheep - was suggested by the name of Trinity Park but also celebrates the main feature of the original Suffolk show. The Suffolk Agricultural Association was founded in 1831 and held its first show at Wickham Market in 1832 The show moved to its present permanent site at Trinity Park to the east of Ipswich in 1960
